The Consortium Project Musicians 1999

6 talented musicians from 3 different bands
and 4 different countries

To organise and put together such a project involved an enormous amount of technical planning, foresight and dedication from the technical team - these are the guys who are rarely seen, but make everything happen.

Henk van den Braken - Tour Manager, who worked untiringly to ensure that everybody was comfortable, and any problems that arose were quickly solved without any fuss. Henk was also there to lend some muscle for loading and unloading.

Michael Dankert was borrowed/stolen from the Vanden Plas boys and did an excellent job as guitar technician, backliner, loader it and out - and anything else that had to be done.

Armando Ferreira and Raymond Tabak - sound engineers.

Franklin Stark - who drove us safely and comfortably between venues, and ensured that we had 5star Nightliner accommodation - complete with entertainment facilities. Next time we can have a Playstation Rally knockout!

One of the unique and refreshing elements of the Consortium Project was the manner in which it brought together so many different musicians - each person bringing to the album, his own style and sound - but a perfect and harmonious blend in the final production.
Ian's courage and determination to make something special and different has been rewarded in the success of the Consortium Project - so much so - a second Project album is planned for 2000, following the same concept.
