The first Ibanez guitars arrived late in 1999 - shortly after Patrick accepted
the offer to endorse for Ibanez.

RG Prestige 3120 VV

The RG Prestige pictured left was the first one we saw him use.
The guitars arrived in time for the recording of the Elegy CD 'Forbidden Fruit' 1999.

Patrick found both of the new guitars to his liking. The sound was good, and they were comfortable to play.Patrick continued to use these guitars for all of his work in 2000.

A striking grey RG 620 - 7 string (pictured above) arrived with the Prestige. This has been used on the Elegy CD and also Consortium Project's second CD 'Continuum in Extremis'

Two 'custom' models arrived just in time for Patrick to use in Greece - June 2001
The customisation is mostly cosmetic changes to the standard RG Prestige model

The low pick up location is slightly altered from that on the Standard Prestige.

if it is too close to the strings it can cause a problem with the right hand technique.

Patrick began to use the Custom Acoustic models in 1998 - a few minor modifications have been made since the first one.

In July 2003 Patrick received a Dark Grey Custom RG.
It looks good and is very comfortable to play.
Patrick has a slightly different pickup selection on this guitar.

A new modified Xavier Petit below.
The head is more shaped, and the neck has been widened slightly. An Ovation bridge has been fitted and the string scale decreased.

Ibanez RGT3020QM - the new flagship model released late 2003.
For his own personal comfort, Patrick had the neck modified. A slightly thinner neck replaces the original.
