To add a little flavour of Madrid and Spain, Patrick recorded an additional solo on the acoustic European bonus track 'Silence in the Wind' - using a Spanish acoustic guitar. This gives the song a special atmosphere, which illustrates how warm hearted were the people at Sonora and Locomotive as well as the Spanish people of Madrid.

Elegy have spent 9 days on the Carribean island of Aruba shooting a video clip. The song chosen for the clip is the title track "Principles of Pain".
The clip will be shown on various TV cable music Channels - check out TMF and MTV Holland and Viva in Germany.
