Amphiba is a complex instrumental progressive rock/metal album - very melodic and atmospheric.
Harmonies are excellent and tempo changes are frequent.
Drums are expertly and energetically handled by Tommy Aldridge - Patrick always writes his own drum tracks, and they are usually very technical.
"Vivaldi Tribute" a song that Patrick always used as a practise piece, was first played 'live' at the July 14th show of Jean Michel Jarre in 1995 and received tumultuous applause, finds it's way onto the album
The album closes out with an incredible, heavy, rock cover version of Jean Michel JARRE's "Equinoxe IV".
